[or_row][or_column width=”12/12″][or_column_text] In 2004 during the home going of our Dear Relative, Florence Redd Johnson in St Paul, MN, Cousin Andrew Redd and The Late James Forte, Jr. had a serious conversation concerning forming The Redd Family Reunion. James Forte(JT) approached us individually and the answer was overwhelming. The 1st formative gathering was done in Philadelphia, PA, which was suggested by Maryetta Wesley where her Father, The Late Cousin Thomas Cooke resided since he was the oldest relative at that time. In July of 2005 we met in Philadelphia to organize The Redd Family Reunion and since then we have gathered in the following cities and country:
