The Davis, Sherman, Weh, and Redd families, with humble acceptance of God’s will, announce the home going of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and wonderful friend, Stanford Davis.

His transition from this earth into God’s glorious kingdom occurred on the late evening of July 5, 2020 at the Atrium Medical Center of Charlotte, NC.

Mr. Stanford Davis is survived by his wife: Capitola Sherman Davis; Children: Roland, Faustinus (Albertina), Cleavant, Reginald, Lydia, Arnold (Jackie), Calvin, Carmen (Terrance), and Herbie; Grandchildren:

Rolanda, Roberto, Robert, Kiara, BJ, Aaron, Kierra, Malik, Jayden, Cassius and Caleb; Sisters:

Julia Nyekan Vinton, Georgia Nyekan Johnson, Christine (Nathaniel), Kebeh (Matthew), Zoe, Annet, Blamah and Haggai.

Brothers: Joe (Alfreda), Edward, Daniel (Olga), Vivion (Nester) Julius, George, William (Nelly), Erasmus (Bindu), Elijah, Augustus, Frank and Thomas; and many wonderful nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. May our Beloved rest in perfect piece.

Tuesday, July 28th (2pm – 6pm) – Public Viewing

Only 10 people at a time while be allowed in the viewing area

Wednesday, July 29th (11am) – Private Funeral

The service will have a maximum capacity of 50 people.  There will be a guest list populated for close family members for both Standford Davis and Capitola Davis
