Our Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, cousin, aunty, and friend, Mrs. Capitola Hawa Soni Sherman Davis came into this world on April 19, 1950. Her transition from this earth into God’s glorious kingdom occurred in the early morning on July 20, 2020, at the Atrium Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Shortly after the passing of her husband Stanford Davis, our Beloved departed this world, after also fighting a long battle with the Coronavirus Disease 2019. Cap was most renowned with her families, friends, and community as someone with an unmatched spirit of generosity, charity, and love. Cap would often be seen helping out her fellow men and women when they were most in need. She even earned the title “The Iron Lady”, since she could never be deterred from her endeavors and her moral center and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, could never be shaken. Her warm smile and loving hospitality will be forever missed. May she rest forever in perfect peace in the arms of the Lord.
